We will discuss the diverse roles libraries play in the academic environment and methods for identifying the specific needs and interests of your school’s community, with inspiration from successful examples of libraries with strong community functions.
Participants will actively engage in sharing unique aspects of their libraries and identifying areas for improvement with a focus on community. We will explore tools for enabling community growth, as well as strategies for collaboration and networking to connect various groups and organizations effectively, emphasizing the library’s role in bridging connections within the academic community.
