ZBW-WORLD-The Culture of the Networked Working Environment Today and Tomorrow
Wednesday, June 26, 11:15, RB 209 [back to full program]
Another aspects of space in Libraries is the working environment of staff. Diversity, sustainability, digital transformation, new work, flexible leadership; these are keywords describing our challenges and opportunities today and in the future working environment of research libraries. Furthermore, the organisational culture is more important than ever as an umbrella.
At ZBW, we are thinking of this in terms of the questions: What actually characterises the (collaborative) work in the ZBW? How do we want to achieve our goals together in the future? How can we benefit even more from the diversity of our staff? How can we remain an attractive employer for all age groups? What will our workplace look like in the future?
The hybrid world of work needs to be shaped and further developed so that we can work together in an innovative, highly motivated and efficient way. To answer these questions, the ZBW has implemented ZBW-WORLD to summarise various overlapping topics under one umbrella. These include values (W), organisation (O), spaces (R), Learning and Development (L) and diversity (D). On the one hand, this avoids parallel developments and makes coordination more efficient. On the other hand, this bracket serves to further develop the common identity. The individual activities are further developed with the greatest possible involvement of the staff.
